Fall Home Tour

I haven’t posted in awhile, I am two weeks out from my due date so it’s been all about getting things ready for baby :)

I wanted to get this fall home tour up before then. and before it’s time for a Christmas home tour!

This year for fall I wanted to stick to a simple design incorporating blues and grays. I wanted to keep it simple. Here is our home for fall!

I love the pop of the teal with the simple neutrals. I love neutrals and adding a pop of a color helps switch up your design for each season.

If you have any questions about where anything is from please feel free to ask in the comments! :)

I hope you enjoyed our fall home tour!

Some of My Favorite Items from My Shop

Happy Tuesday! ! I wanted to write a post focusing on my shop. I started my online decor shop abut four months ago and it is something I am so passionate about. I love interior design and decorating so this seemed like the natural next step in my business.

I picked out items for my shop that I love and I think would work well in homes of different styles. I wanted to share some of my favorite items with you that I think you will love as well.

Wood Tablet Holder

Wood Tablet Holder

I love this tablet holder! It is so unique with the white top and the wood bottom. The back has a black metal stand which is also unique. I haven't seen one like this and I love that! It looks great displayed in the kitchen with a cookbook on it. This is definitely a piece that would work well in any home.

Stoneware Berry Baskets

Stoneware Berry Baskets

These berry baskets are another staple piece in a kitchen. I love the neutral colors. They look great holding your fresh berries and are actually usable! I love them.

Large and Small Round Wooden Pedestals

Large and Small Round Wood Pedestals

These pedestals are great accent pieces that can be used many different ways. They can be stacked, like above, or you can use them by themselves. They are great for holding a candle or a vase but could also be used for a food table to add some different heights and visual interest. I love these pieces.

Head over to my Shop tab to check out the rest of the shop. I would love to hear what you think in the comments!

Some Favorite Fall Color Schemes

Fall is my favorite season for so many reasons. I love the cooler temperatures, the clothes, the sports, and the colors. I love to decorate for fall in our home and there are so many pretty color schemes to choose from. I've gathered a few of my favorites.

Fall Color Schemes

All of these color combinations are warm and feel like fall. Last year I used a color scheme similar to the bottom right. It is a little cooler, but I think it still worked. All of these color combinations would work great for your fall decor. Incorporating cozy piece like pillows and throw blankets make any of these combinations feel more like fall.

I hope you enjoyed this post and I hope it helped you get an idea for your own fall decor. I know it's only August, but I couldn't resist throwing some fall into a post.

Summer Home Tour

Now that it's August and I'll be sharing a fall tour before we know it, I thought I'd share our summer home tour.

I wanted to keep the colors light and soft. My two main colors are pink and light blue. Those were my inspiration colors. Our rug has pretty blue grays in it, so I wanted to pull those too. I used some blue vases to add a pop of a pretty light blue and used pink flowers to bring in the pink I used for the pillows.

I hope you enjoyed seeing our summer home tour.

A Garden Themed Baby Shower

I'm a little late on this post, baby Ava has arrived and is already a little over three weeks old! But I still wanted to post all about Stefanie's baby shower. I absolutely love the way it turned out! Since the day she told us she was pregnant I started planning her shower. And when we found out she was having a girl, I was excited to make it really girly and pretty. Here are some photos from this fun day we had celebrating the mom-to-be!

We did a brunch theme for the food. We have French toast casserole, mini quiche, a fruit salad with a honey lime dressing, salad, and fruit water and lemonade. We also had different desserts including mini strawberry and cake parfaits, cut-out baby bottle cookies, and french toast cookies.

For the favors, I wanted to do something different and simple. So, we decided to have mini flower bouquets for the guests. They were girly and perfect for a garden themed baby shower.

It was such a great day celebrating baby Ava and Stefanie! Thank you to everyone who came and helped us celebrate!
